The facility is located just 12 miles from Turfway Park and 3 miles from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Newport Racing &amp; Gaming will feature 500 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, and a bar. The Gaming Shift Supervisor is responsible for the successful activity of the Gaming Floor by ensuring maximum guest service. Will assist with the day-to-day supervision of the Gaming Floor and may act as managerial representative in the absence of the Gaming Operations\u00a0Manager. Essential<b> Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management abilities demonstrated in assisting with managing the gaming operation effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes positive customer relations, greets customers and creates a friendly atmosphere.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel and support departments.<\/li>\n<li>Creative problem solving and resolution management.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to state gaming regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department, work flexible hours and handle high- pressure deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Standards of Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Leads by example relative to exemplary customer service both internal and external.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of gaming machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education, Training and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years of experience within the gaming industry required<\/li>\n<li>4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>1 year of experience managing personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Racing License<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prerequesites :<\/strong> Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays and nights.\u00a0<strong>Physical Demands<\/strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
